After earning my degree from The University of Tulsa in 2007, I moved west and began my career in California. From there, I have gathered experience in many areas of research, design, and operation of industrial facilities. I am a (very) Professional Engineer, California License Number CH 6544.

I enjoy new challenges. Adapting to new environments in order to develop skills that add value has been my calling. In my career I have worked in new technology development and research, I have led teams developing process designs for 160,000 BPD refining plants, and most recently I have lived in the field, where I saved my last offshore operation in excess of US$20,000,000 a year. As of November 2017, I have returned to a desk job in the Bay Area to support downstream Safety Instrumented System Design and Implementation in a Process Engineering role. Everything I have accomplished I owe to the people I have been surrounded with, luck, hard work, and a strict adherence to basic process design and operation principles.
